Changes to Operational Management Structure

DP World Southampton has restructured its operational management team with the changes taking effect from 1 July 2008.

The Landside Manager role and the Marine Manager role have been amalgamated to create a position of Operations Manager which has been filled by Steve McCrindle.  Steve joined the terminal in 1995 as a Terminal Operator, joined the management trainee scheme and then took on the role of Landside Manager in 2004.

Neil Fletcher has taken up the new role of Customer & Planning Manager and is responsible for customer interface and planning.  Neil has worked in the operations department for over 30 years as well as having experience in overseas terminal operations.

Talking about the restructure, Campbell Mason, Managing Director,
DP World Southampton, said:
