Winners of BIFA Freight Service Awards Announced

Congratulations to all the winners of the BIFA Freight Service Awards (pictured left).  In a ceremony held on Thursday 22 January 2009 and attended by over 450 BIFA members and their guests, the winners were announced.  The event was hosted by special guest, The Rt. Hon. Michael Portillo, with each of the sponsors personally congratulating the winners of the award sponsored.

For the third consecutive year, DP World Southampton sponsored the Ocean Freight Award which this year was won, for the second consecutive year, by Uniserve.  The other finalist in the category was Ideal Forwarding Ltd.

 
Talking after the ceremony, Campbell Mason, Managing Director, DP World Southampton, said:

“My congratulations go to all winners today, especially to Uniserve - the winner, for two years in a row, of the Ocean Freight Award.  It was great to see so many people in the industry supporting BIFA and the awards ceremony itself was, as always, an excellent event with an entertaining host.”
