Winners of BIFA Freight Service Awards Announced

Hon. Michael Portillo, with each of the sponsors personally congratulating the winners of the award sponsored.

For the third consecutive year, DP World Southampton sponsored the Ocean Freight Award which this year was won, for the second consecutive year, by Uniserve.  The other finalist in the category was Ideal Forwarding Ltd.

 
Talking after the ceremony, Campbell Mason, Managing Director, DP World Southampton, said:

“My congratulations go to all winners today, especially to Uniserve - the winner, for two years in a row, of the Ocean Freight Award.  It was great to see so many people in the industry supporting BIFA and the awards ceremony itself was, as always, an excellent event with an entertaining host.”   

 

Peter Quantrill, Director General of BIFA, added:

“The awards are rightly acknowledged as the most prestigious within the freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain industry as they encourage and recognise high professional standards and special achievements. I am gratified that this award competition celebrated its 20th anniversary and continues to highlight the best efforts of managers and staff at all levels of this vital industry.
